Allegany County is confronting a growing crisis of child poverty and youth homelessness, with numerous children and young adults struggling to secure safe housing and basic needs like food. In response to this issue, ACCORD Corporation will host a community forum to raise awareness and inspire action.

The event, titled “Shelter Our Future: Every Child in Allegany County Deserves a Home,” will feature local leaders, advocates, and experts who will discuss the severe challenges faced by vulnerable children and families. The aim is to drive meaningful conversations that lead to lasting community solutions.
